Parents & Tourist Visa are essentially same Visas. There is usually no Separate Visa category for Parents Visa. Parents who intend to visit with their son/ daughter residing in a foreign country have to file for a tourist visa of that country. Tourist visa is an independent visa and is not directly dependent on the Son/ daughter Visa status.
